The platform collects the data needed to operate the account, protect transactions, provide support and meet regulatory requirements.
Core data
This data may include your name, phone number, country, device information, IP addresses and transaction history.
Financial data
Transaction records, references, exchange rates and deposit and withdrawal statuses are retained for operational and audit purposes and to prevent duplication.
Verification codes and passkeys
Payunit does not keep your private passkeys, and verification codes sent by message and email are stored in an encrypted form that cannot be recovered. Never share verification codes with anyone.
Sharing and retention
Data is shared only with service providers necessary for operations or under a legitimate legal obligation, and records are kept for as long as needed for operations and audit.
Security and device data
The system may record session and device data, sign-in attempts and network addresses to help detect unusual access, prevent misuse and protect the account.
Payment processing
When an external payment channel is used, only the data needed to create the transaction and verify and complete it is sent, and the platform does not show users sensitive payment data they do not need.
